DAY 15

Things are moving right along. On day 15, we couldn't see the brick lines on the balcony floor anymore. Instead, a thick cement screed covered it, as well as the floor in Meg's room. Tiling has begun for the master bedroom bathroom walls. Most of the debris has been cleared. Things are shaping up nicely. 😀
This dark grey colour will lighten up in a few days.
The 'before' and 'after' shades of fresh and dried concrete.
The aircon pipe carrying water away from the unit to the waste water pipe at the corner what used to be the balcony has been embedded inside the floor to hide it.
Tiling has begun in the master bedroom.
Tile spacers (the protruding strips) are used to retain a consistent and regular gap between the wall tiles.
The water pipes have been concealed behind a recently erected concrete wall.
A general view of the master bathroom.
Loving this open view between the girls' rooms.
Em's room.
Meg's room as well as the balcony has freshly laid cement screed.
Gypsum boards for the false ceiling ready to be installed.
A view of the living room from the master bedroom entrance.
Nice clean kitchen floor. Can't wait for that rubbish chute hole to be covered up. Giant cockroaches have been visiting our flat! 😩
