DAY 43

6500K or 4000K? Cool white or warm white? The former is more conducive for reading, the latter gives a warm, cosy feel but is bad for reading. The photo above doesn't quite accurately show what the tones actually look like. My phone corrects the colours automatically. Em's room (right) is actually much warmer than it looks and Meg's room is less blueish. Why do we have two different types of lights installed? We weren't sure which we wanted so the lighting supplier gave us both bulbs to try it out to see which we like better. When we saw the two, the choice was clear to us. We've asked for brighter bulbs which they do have. What you see above are 9W LED bulbs but the supplier has bulbs that are twice as bright but they cost $22 more each. But we like our rooms to be bright so we'll go for it. The air-condition units have also been installed, as well as the switches. I'm glad we decided to get the full flat switches, even though the electrical boxes cannot be hidden and protrude from the wall. Things are moving along and the cabinets will come in soon enough.
We got the Daikin 4 unit 5 ticks smile system which is supposed to be energy efficient.
Installation in Em's room is not complete yet.
The veneer doors are up!
Meg's room.
Emma's room.
The pocket doors are also in.
And the main door's up at last...
3 gang, 2 way ZENcelo switches by Schneider Electric.
Each switch has its own little lamp to indicate its 'on' or 'off' position.
Don't know where the silver switch came from. We only bought white ones!
The brand of door hinges used.
The HUE lights in the living room. Only 7 of the 11 lights can be switched on  at this point of time. The other four aren't connected ye, so we can't tell if the no. of lights in the living room are sufficiently bright or not.
