Crash and Burn
Ever notice that one easily falls sick just before one goes on a holiday? The only logical deduction I can come up with for this phenomenon is that the body is winding down after a period of highly stressed hard work and that's when it has a chance to finally break down. It's like an engine that dies after sputtering black smoke when in idle mode. Well, that's the prelude to most of my holidays...so after we checked into the hotel, we went out for lunch at our favourite Greyhound restaurant at the Emporium just a BTS stop away, bought some drinks and fruits, and came back to the room to crash. MJ slept from about 8pm Tues night til 9am Weds morning.
Our first time here at this new boutique hotel along Sukhumvit Soi 19, opened in May 2009.
Nice, extremely clean room, with a huge bed, perfect for three with a little wiggler in between.

Need we explain why...
Another must order for me...their Iced Lemon Tea. I had two at a go, much to my daughter and husband's chagrin...it's heavenly!!!
